October 2020
The season of color is upon us. Fall foliage is at its peak and we’ve been taking full advantage of Vermont's seasonal offerings, like maple creamees in homemade waffle cones, freshly pressed apple cider from our neighbors, and long hikes through the mountains. This past weekend we spent an afternoon at Saint-Gaudens (pictured above), the historic seasonal home of sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It was the perfect place to stroll around and take in the fall scenery.
A cutting board you can get your fingers under
We are big believers in Alton Brown's philosophy that you should never have kitchen “unitaskers.” Every item in the kitchen should serve more than one purpose and our new Kitchen Boards do just that. This limited run is made from Maple that was harvested from the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park in Woodstock, Vermont.
Keepsake Box in Cherry
This keepsake box is made from Vermont-grown Black Cherry and features half-blind dovetails, quarter-sawn panels, and Brusso brass stop hinges. We hope that you’ll fill this box with whatever you hold dear. For us, it’s perfect for beeswax candles.
The Online Shop
Feast your eyes on the BEST Maple Creamee in New England. We finally went on a pilgrimage (or two) to Mac’s Maple in Plainfield, NH. These amazing treats are the inspiration behind our new Maple Creamee Tea Tray. We hope we can make our version as good as this one looks and tastes. All hail the Creamee!
