White Oak Dining Table
I was commissioned by Susana Goss to design and build a table that would serve to anchor the dining space in this custom-built lakefront property.
As a custom furniture maker, working with Susana is a dream! She provides only inspiration pictures and dimensions and the rest is up to me. I designed this 9ft. table which features a racetrack top and octagonal tapered legs with turned feet.
It was equal parts complex, heavy, and satisfying to build.
Final Proposal Drawing
After moving forward with the octagonal tapered leg, I sketched a final proposal for approval with options for one or two turned beads.

Low Back Windsor Bench
This was another custom piece that I built for Susana Goss and one of her clients. The only requirements was that it needed to be 7ft long, painted black, and to NOT look brand new. This left a ton of room for me to create this low back design. Windsors require a lot of hand work shown in the spoke shaved spindles, carved knuckle arms, and ornate turned legs and arm posts. I applied a distressed black milk paint finish.
