Danish cording was first made popular by Hans Wegner during the design boom in the mid 1900s. This was my first venture into weaving and I absolutely loved the process! It’s a great activity for a quiet evening once the baby goes to bed — and the result is a warm and tactile piece that begs to be touched. If this one wouldn’t get destroyed by our cats, Erin and I would keep it for ourselves. More danish cord pieces to come but for now, this one is ready to find its home.
